| Car 01 - Triumph TR7 V8 |
|
Hand-built in 1996, Colin's TR7 is a triumph of british engineering over common sense.
The body was re-imported from California, and the car was built from scratch using (largely) brand-new parts. She has a 4.6l Rover V8, originally destined for a Morgan. Nottingham-based specialists P & P Restorations did the work. They painstakingly moulded and blended an aftermarket bodykit into the main shell and tinkered with everything. The car was built to TR8 spec but it's all uprated - most of it Rover, though little of it was ever put together in quite this way before.
Nicknamed the Lusitania because she blew up last year, this must be one of a very few TR7s with all round disc brakes. She's certainly the only one with MacLeod tartan seats and a 4.6l fuel-injected V8.
